The Solution is Saying הריני מקבל and אך צדיקים

Two months after Simchas Torah 5744, the Rebbe came out with a campaign to say Hareini Mekabel before davening and Ach Tzadikim afterward. The Rebbe explicitly stated that he was doing so because of the instability in the world, מלכויות מתגרות זו בזו.

The Rebbe spoke about the increased friction between various nations in recent months and weeks. The way we can better the situation is (not by reading all about the newest developments, but) by adding in tefillah, Torah, and gemilus chassadim.

The Rebbe therefore suggested that no matter your nusach, you should add the passage of Hareini Mekabel before davening and the possuk of Ach Tzaddikim afterward. By doing so, you are askin Hashem to bring unity and peace to Yidden and to the world at large.

There Are Yidden There!

We need to remember that there are Jews and Shluchim in Russia that need our help too:

In 5716, a group of terrorists infiltrated Kfar Chabad and murdered six Yidden, hy”d. After this event, Reb Pinchos Althaus asked the Rebbe if articles should be written in newspapers decrying the murders and demanding from world leaders to stop the violence.

The Rebbe replied that care must be taken when publicizing something that might be detrimental to shluchim in other countries. In this case, such activities might draw ire from the Arabs in Morocco, with negative effects on the shluchim and other Yidden there.

“Shema Yisroel”

The Frierdiker Rebbe tells of one of the most difficult days he ever experienced. It was during the German bombardment of Warsaw, Poland.

He tells us how he hid in cellars, heard the bombs and finally the Shema Yisroel that all kinds of Jews shouted in unison when they thought they had been hit.
